These include a walled garden, Victorian conservatory and several garden rooms.
Access is via the main entrance in the village and park in the visitors’ car park.
Report to reception between 9am and 5pm and they will give you directions.
2. Bishop Burton Church
This is usually unlocked between 9am and 5pm. The tower dates from the 13th century.
3. Beverley Westwood and Burton Bushes
This is a large area of common land grazed by cattle. Burton Bushes is probably a remnant of our native deciduous woodland and is popular with bird watchers and dog walkers. The rest of the pasture is available for walking, picnics, football games etc. Nearer Beverley where the Walkington road crosses the Westwood is a hilly, scrubby area which is near an ice cream van in summer.
4. Explore our farm and find out what we do
There is a self guided farm walk or we will give you tours of the buildings and show you what goes on.
